Queens, NY - Free April Event!

-at the New York Hall of Science-

Adults are invited to attend a panel discussion and Q&A on raising children who are on the autism spectrum. A book signing for My Baby Rides the Short Bus will follow the event. The panel of experts includes authors, educators, and parents of children with autism.

Panelists include:

* Jennifer Silverman, co-editor of My Baby Rides the Short Bus: The Unabashedly Human Experience of Raising Kids with Disabilities.
* Sharis Ingram, contributor to My Baby Rides the Short Bus: The Unabashedly Human Experience of Raising Kids with Disabilities.
* Carol Greenburg, a mother with Asperger's syndrome who runs a special education consulting group.
* Liane Kupferberg Carter, writer for the Huffington Post and the New York Times parenting blog Motherlode, and a mother of an adult son on the autism spectrum.
